Ingredients: Pale ale, CaraPils malts; Equinox, Citra hops; Wyeast 1056 yeast; water.
For this brew were inspired by two totally different brewing traditions. German kettle souring, known from production of Leipzig Gose or Berliner Weisse and American hopping rates and juicy hops.
Hopped with Citra and Equinox it definitelly has some nice papaya / passion fruit character. These exotic flavours are paired to lactic fermentation. Strange but very drinkable combo. Like a liquid summer trapped in a glass.

Draft. A hazy amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of spices, brettanomyces, and malt. The flavor is sour with notes of brettanomyces, lemons, hops, malt, and mango, leading to a tart finish.

0,33 flaske fra Bulgarsk Mad på Åboulevard (København), på hytta etter dagens økt med oppussing. Uklar gylden med flott skum til siste dråpe. Litt overkarbonert, men aroma og smak er allikevel lett å kjenne. Superfrisk med sursyrlige citrusfrukter på alle kanter. Høyst nytbar, og for 25 kroner er dette virkelig gode saker hvis man har en hang til det sursyrlige. Bitterheten er tilbaketrukket.

Thanks people! Misty golden body. Piney, grapefruity aroma, some soft maltiness. Light, lean tart taste, somewhat lemony, well carbonated, subdued taste, too much after the lovely aroma, but nevertheless a tasty beer.

Ein saures Pale Ale? Muss ich haben! Ordentlich Carbo, aber kein Gushing. Dafür mächtig Schaum. Optisch wie ein dunkleres Weizen. In der Nase tatsächlich typische Pale Ale Fruchtigkeit mit leichter Säure. Im Trunk erstmal gewöhnungsbedürftig, Pale Ale und Säure spielen Ringelreihe, dann plötzlich bricht das Malz brutal durch - was ist das denn? Total verrücktes Bier, bei dem der Abgang komplett anders ist als der Antrunk. Echt nicht einfach zu trinken, aber trotzdem irgendwie geil.

Bottle 330ml. @ home. [ As Sakiškių Sour Pale Ale ].Clear medium orange yellow colour with a huge, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, moderate hoppy, sour papaja - passin fruit, tart, sulfur - funky notes. Flavor is moderate sweet, light acidic and bitter with a long duration, tart, tart fruit, tart passion fruit - papaja. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20170816] 7-3-7-3-15

On tap at Pudel, Tallinn. Hazy golden with a modest, white head. Fruity and hoppy with tropical fruits, citrus and mild funky notes. Sour, fruity and refreshing with a pleasant bitterness too. Nice one!
