Draught at the brewpub, small stable head, hazy golden orange colour, strong aroma of banana with some spices and bubblegum, flavour of bubblegum. white fruits and almond, lemony sourness and a light pleasant bitterness. Good classic weizen.

19/07 On tap at the brewpub. It poured hazy yellow body with big head. Rich cloves, banana and herbal hop aroma. Flavor was very lightly sweet, chalk yeasty, banana, bubblegum with pronounced hop acidity that was unappealing. Medium bodied. A bit vinous in the finish, otherwise typical chalky and banana painted. A decent German style wheat ale, although could have been a lot better.

RBESG ’12, Vienna. On tap at the brewpub. Hazy pale golden colour, white head. Aroma of spice, clove, banana. Flavour is spicy, nutmeg, clove, plastic, yeast, banana, light wheaty finish. Light bodied. OK.

100ml as Dry Weizen at the brewpub in Wien. Cloudy, orange body colour with a white, low-level head. Spicy weissen aroma tinged with hop notes. Well rounded wheaty taste follow by mellow tropical fruits and a touch of banana. Fairly dry (30.11.2007).
