Sold in the US as Oktober Fest-Märzen. This is the filtered version of Ayinger Kirtabier.
Ayinger Festmärzen has a deep golden colour tinted with amber. It is lightly sweet with a malty nose balanced with floral hops. Its medium to big body and alcohol is not overpowering. The soft dryness comes from long maturation.

Lost my tick. A Lidl.purchase. Clear bright amber with a big foamy off-white head. Aroma.has chewy doughy and spice. Some citrus. A and wood. A metallic edge. Initial bitterness with woody and spice. Chewy burnt caramel. Metallic. Light-medium bodied. Soft-fizzy carbonation..Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Good.

Clear amber pour with a fluffy (and stable) white head. Aromoas of malt, bread, marmalade, a hint of citrus. Taste is is quite similar, some herbal notes for a decent bitter finish. Not bad.

Bottle from the Lidl bumper bundle. Good pour, good colour and a fairly insipid taste and mouthfeel. Drinkable but there are many better.

500 ml bottle, as Ayinger Festmärzen ("Oktober" is not part of the name), from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 5.8%. Clear reddish amber colour, moderate to small white head. Aroma of malts, caramel and raisins, some attic dust too. Malty flavour, some caramel but not very sweet, moderate herbal hops.

Klokt lekker weg.

Bottle pours dark amber with thin white head. Aroma of yeast, dense mouthfeel, malty and slightly sweet. Flavors of bread and yeast linger. Very Nice!
