Ca is a blend of different older dry-hopped wild ales and a saison. The different wild ales were dry-hopped in the barrels with NZ Cascade hops for almost a year. Right before bottling the beers were blended back with a bitter saison (30% of the total blend) to give some freshness and bitterness to the final blend. The hop-aroma is not overwelming but well integrated in the overall beer. Lively floral and orange notes with an underlying farmhouse, kind of dusty, aroma. It has a firm bitterness and balanced sourness.

750 ml bottle, bottled 26.02.2019. Dark orange, hazy body, with a big, creamy, lacing, yellowish head. Aroma of wood, citrus, barnyard, apricot, some peppery spices. Tastes pretty similar. Medium, slick mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation. Finishes smooth, dry, medium bitter, citric, wooden, a bit funky, hoppy, fruity, floral, a bit spicy. Tasty! Maybe not the most complex Tommie Sjef I've had, but so fresh and balanced, exactly my taste. Beautiful fruity hop notes, combined with distinct funk and just enough rustic character. Score: 8 / 4 / 8 / 4 / 17
