On tap at CP&K. It pours hazy golden yellow with a very thin off-white head. The nose is funky, sour, farmyard, sweaty socks and over-ripe apple. The taste is tart, biscuit, cheese, farmyard and tangy lemon-lime with a spicy note towards the finish. There is a slight fizz on the tip of the tongue and it’s quite thin. An interesting idea but this Lambic and hop combo doesn’t work well for me.

Tap @ Fairbar. Pours orange ( with a slight red tone at first ) with no head. Aroma is sour / tart with wet leather, basement and fruity hops. Taste is sour with same flavors as aroma with some horsebarn, sweet apples added. Medium body, no carbonation to speak of, lasting sour finish. Still leaning to fully appreciate lambic’s and had expected more sourness from this, but still found it refreshing and fairly easy drinking. 040211

On tap at Ørsteds Ølbar, Copenhagen. I am not an experienced lambik-connaiseur, but here it goes: Color is amber, aroma is at first citrus and flowerlike. As the beer unfolds a distinct aroma (smell?) of horse stables rises. Mouthfeel is very bitter, but surprisingly fruity taste. Still not that keen on lambiks...
