Bottle. Pours a dark amber with medium frothy beige head that lasts. The aroma is cherry skin, oak, leather. Medium mouth, tart cherry, roast, oak, light funk, very good.

500ml bottle thanks to Chris. Pours out dark brown with a maroon highlights topped with a sand head. Nose is sour cherries tartness roast malts chocolate. Taste is cherries vanilla barrel roast malts chocolate. Wow this has to be one of my favorite sour stout.

Sample at the brewpub. Dark brown color with a medium thin off-white head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of cherries, figs and malt. Medium-bodied with flavors of tart cherries, oaky vanilla and malt. The finish is moderately sour with a cherry aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

On draft at the brewpub it is. Dark brown with a slight head. The aroma is brandies cherries. The taste is strong sour taste that unfortunately I have not acquired a taste for so this is a biased tasting

4 oz pour on draft at ChurchKey for the Wicked Weed DC Debut event. Poured a black color with a small tan head. Aroma was light barrel, bourbon notes. Cherry, roast. Chocolate cherry cordial. Light funk notes on the finish. Pretty tasty.

Bottle courtesy of Omgrich and shared with the Shape crew. Bottled 2014, 500ml. Brune, col beige. Arôme est fruité noir, rétro apportant un caractère levure aigrelet tirant presque sur un cidre. Retrouve un Bourbon bien, presque trop, présent pour le nez. Palais de barrique qui est bien là donnant pas mal des notes de Bourbon. Retrouve un suret fruité de griotte, cerise noire. Fini est sec et se présente plus en fin de bouche. Le out fonctionne bien même si le côté Bourbon semble parfois reprendre un peu le dessus au détriment du fruité.
