Sampled from tap at ’Beertemple’. Black with a beige head. Soutish-malty, slightly sweetish and a little fruity aroma of red grapes, some vinegar, bitter almond and vanilla. Sourish-fruity, a little sweet taste of cherries, red grapes, vinegar, vanilla and oak, followed by a medium long, moderately tart finish. Medium body, slightly astringent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very nice, quite complex and with lovely barrel notes.

50cl bottle pours a murky black with a ring of beige head. Nose has both acid and barrel, pomegranate, raisin, date, vanilla, some acid. Flavor is a bit cheap, cheap acid, cherries, pomegranate, light grist, mild barrel. Tart and hot on the finish.
