Bottle split with Sharon and Roger in St Peters, from farm shop, 08/10/22. Clear golden, carbonation Well evident, fast collapsing white head. Nose is crisp apple, hint of caramel, residual sugars, apple core. Taste comprises ape pie, caramel, light tannins, straw, sugars. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Tidy enough cider ... would have preferred slightly less sweetness.

Sample, thanks to our ever gracious leader Grumbo. Pours a misty golden amber. Aroma brings cheesy sweaty funk notes. Taste is has nice smooth textures, prominent fuzzy tannins, backed up with a barbed acidity, good fleshy fruity moments. Best of the bunch so far for me.

Sample from danlo, big thanks! Sweet apples, some funky animals are reprazent at this barn. Bit mealy and earthy, light vinagrous, happy shiny apple bite finish. Moderate sweet and bitter. Think I liked this one best of the series. --- Beer merged from original tick of Black Bull Sparkling Medium Sweet on 05 Oct 2019 at 21:30 - Score: 7. Bottle sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Deep golden colour, thin white rim and aroma of leathery, vinegary funky apple. Taste is sweetish, orchardy, fruity apple, woody, leathery funk, vinegary, acidic, drying. Oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, low carbonation, medium-dry finish. Quite drinkable.
