Bottle 500 ml. Pours hazy brown with beige head. Smoke and malt aroma. Smoke flavor with a hint of wheat.

Uklar brun, fizzy skum, hurtigt væk igen. Røget aroma. Smagen let røget, lidt gær, hvede. Velafbalanceret. Let carb, frisk frugtig og tør eftersmag. Tak for den, MiP!

500ml bottle from Berlin Bier Shop. Pours a deep dark brown with a quickly vanishing head. Has a slight sweetness that raises the earthy aspects to a smooth drinkable level. Smoky character refuses to dominate, instead just drifting through. Unexpectedly delicious, will definitely search out some more of this stuff.

Im Glas entfaltet sich ein sehr schöner, rauchiger Schinkengeruch. Der Antrunk ist mild-hefig, schöne Raucharomen machen sich im Mund breit. Der Hauptteil ist schön hefig-rauchig, aber etwas flach, die Rauchnote tritt auch kurz in den Hintergrund. Im Nachgeschmack ist die Rauchnote wieder angenehm-hefig präsent, könnte aber etwas intensiver sein und sich etwas länger halten.
--> Schönes Weizen, das aber etwas voller und aromenreicher sein könnte. Auch könnte die etwas in den Hintergrund getretene Rauchnote für mich intensiver ausgeprägt sein.

Bottle bought @ bierkompass.de (if I remember correctly). Pours wooden brown with a small brownish golden head that quickly dissipates while leaving a small trace on the glass. Smell is malty, estery and smokey with sweet dark bread, banana bread, oatmeal cookies, moist wood, smoked meats, Christmas fruit cake, ash, hay, smoke, cloves, coriander, moist tobacco and hints of lemon juice and lemon zest. Taste is slightly sweet, tiny bitter, malty, slightly estery and smokey with biscuits, sweet dark bread, oatmeal cookies, banana bread, cloves, coriander, moist wood, prunes, raisins, hay, smoked meats, lapsang tea, moist tobacco and hints of lemon juice, lemon zest and ash. Mouthfeel is crisp, round, tiny tart and light to medium bodied. Finish is tiny bitter, malty and slightly estery with sweet dark bread, smoked sausages, lemon juice, moist wood, banana bread, moist tobacco, hay and hints of lemon zest. Tasty and very easy to drink...

A smoke beer combined with a weizen beer. Result is mix of extreme smokiness, on a body of soft wheat. Good beer.

50 cl. bottle. Hazy, dark amber colour with a big, fluffy off-white head. Sweet aroma with wheat malts and fruitiness, banana notes as usual in wheat beers. Also smoked malts, bonfire, caramel and sausages. Taste is light sweet. Medium body with a good, creamy texture and an average carbonation. Finishes sweet with smoke, light tar and fruitiness from the wheat. Good, not as good as the Märzen, that is more consistent as a smoked beer. A good choice for the rookie in the world of smoked beers.

Bottle. Pours murky brown with tan head. Nose and taste of smoked cherry wood, wheat malt, smoked barley, banana and smoked malt. Lighter bodied.
