Bottle from HoTM. It pours hazy dark brown with a thick, foamy light tan head. The aroma is rich and smokey, smoked meats, bruised banana, bonfire, ham, cola cubes and some rocky road. The taste is dry, toasty, bitter - sweet, over ripe bananas, banana bread, dried fruits, banana chips, sultana, smooth bonfire smoke, meaty, smoked ham and a touch of spice with a toasty, light smokey finish. Medium body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Works well. Nice balance to it.

# 2130; 7/2020. Nice smoky aroma, bacon. Crispy, bacon, yeasty, clovy and slightly banana, smoked. Excellent Rauchenweizen. 0,5 l, bottle, multitap pub, Pilsen (Bohemia, CZ).

500 ml bottle, bb 09/2020. Dark brownish-copper, hazy body, with a big, creamy, lacing, beige head. Aroma of smoked wood, dark bread, banana cake, moderate bacon, dark chocolate, some spices. Tastes similar, with moderate creamy vanilla. Medium, a bit creamy mouthfeel, with a lively carbonation. Finishes smooth, medium smokey, wheaty, moderate spicy, a bit roasty, medium sweet, wooden, with cocoa, bread, some ripe banana. Very nice. Greatly balanced, with the typical Dunkelweizen aromas and the smokiness in great harmony. Smooth to drink, with a creamy character. Quaffable and caracterful. Score: 8 / 4 / 8 / 4 / 15

0.5 l bottle from Vrutak, Zagreb. Cloudy amber. Small off-white head. Aroma is smoked malt, fair share of smoke. Some dried fruit, some tartness in flavour. Some fruity estery hints covered with sweet smoke. Moderate carbonation, moderate finish. Smooth. Unique.

Beautiful head. Aroma of smoke, ham, hearth, caramel, banana, spices, carnation. Malty. Taste of smoke, ham, caramel, malt, banana. Low bitter, high carbonation. Sweet taste. Interesting.

Bottle from Beers Of Europe. Pours a hazy chestnut colour with a huge throthy off white head. Nice lacing off the glass. Very lively carbonation! Aromas of smoke, wood, bacon and leather. Taste has the same notes as the aroma very smoky, more bacon, wood, leather and subtle hints of wheat, bread and banana. Medium bodied. Lively slightly oily palate. Nice long smoky aftertaste. I cannot decide if i prefer this or the Marzen but both are excellent. Unique top notch beers from Schlenkerla!

Smoked nose. Clear deep amber colour, tall frothy off-white head, fair, lacing. Aroma smoked malt and bacon, yeast. Taste medium sweet and light bitter, smoked malt and bacon, grainy, brown sugar. Quite spicy and sweet aftertaste, burnt caramel. Medium body, watey texture, lively carbonation, nice.

Bottle thanks to Vestergaard. Pours hazy muddy brown with a small white head. Aromas of smoke, meat, malt. Taste is smoky, bonfire, malt, meat. Fuck me. I fucking hate smoked beers. Fuck.
