We've used lashings of Loral, a modern American hop, to give Galleon its unique character. There's bucket-loads of floral, citrus and delicious dark-fruit flavour in this crisp, refreshing lager. Dry-hopped for extra punch.

(bottle, 33cl) Clear, pale golden colour with a blond and diminishing frothy head. Fruity hoppy aroma with notes of citrus, lemon, stone fruits and hints of grass. Mildly sweet and slightly bitter flavour, light bodied with a crisp mouthfeel. Mainly fruity hop flavours of apricot, lemon, as well as crackery pale malt; moderately dry and fruity hoppy finish with a restrained level of bitterness. Likeable. 18.IV.18

0.33 l bottle from 'Rudat', best before December 2019. Clear, pale golden with a thin, frothy, stable, white head. Sweetish, quite fruity, floral and a bit grassy-spicy aroma of lychee, white grapes and a touch of pineapple. Moderately sweet, minimally bitter, floral, quite fruity and a little grassy-spicy taste of lychee, grains, some straw and a touch of white grapes, followed by a short, slightly bitter, a little grassy-spicy finish. Thin body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Might sound nice, but it's a rather bland and inoffensive Lager, pretty disappointing.

Big thanks to Erzengel for that one! Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass very zippy, nice head. Starts fine malty, modest dry, fruity-hoppy background. Shy hints of lemon, some melon, some apricot. Finish mild, but not washy. Quite drinkable. Nice.

Many thanks to Thirstybird for this bottle. Fruity nose. The beer starts malty with a nice grainy body. Fruity with a round and smooth ending. Fruity grainy, fresh with a floral piney resin aftertaste. Nice.
