We've used lashings of Loral, a modern American hop, to give Galleon its unique character. There's bucket-loads of floral, citrus and delicious dark-fruit flavour in this crisp, refreshing lager. Dry-hopped for extra punch.

Bottle: Pale golden, visible carbonation, smaller - but stable - creamy white head, fresh bitter-sweet citrussy nose, some dusty grains in the background; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied and pretty soft; lingering - a bit tart - lemony-bitter finish with a delicate balancing sweetness. Another fine summer-drink...

A bright, almost fluorescent colour in the glass with a reasonable head. A strong initial aroma of fruity and bitter hops on the nose that left my mouth watering for the beer. The taste was all about the hops that were weighted towards the bitter end of the spectrum and that was a great result for me. The mouthfeel was spiky from all of those bitter hops and this is a beer I really enjoyed.

330ml bottle; part of the six different Fuller's colabs we shared on 30th Jan 2018 at the Shrewsbury beer exchange meeting in Chez Sophie. Mini haze to the golden body, white head with lacing. Light citrus notes in the nose and taste, the dry hopping gave a semi-bitter, dry finish.

Bottle from Waitrose. Clear and brilliant gold, with a slight, yet frothy, white head and plenty of fizziness. Aroma of floral hops and sweetish rich tea malts, with a hint of lemon fruit. Flavour had some sharp lime and blueberry fruit and crisp malts, leading to a dry, vaguely peppery finish. An impressive lager.
