Bottle, almost black with a thin head. Coffee roast sweet soy nose. Flavor is not so thick as expected, but an interesting Umami-roasted-grain flavor mix. Good complexity.

Bottle. Dark brown. Low tan head. Sweet chocolate and licorice nose. Medium light dry body, licorice spice, a bit salt, fresh seaweed and grass finish.

Bottle. Hazy brown color with beige head. Aroma is chocolate, earthy, a bit liquorice. Taste is chocolate, liquorice, earthy, mild roast, iodine. Velvety mouthfeel with fine-bubbled carbonation. Good!

(Draught at Biererei, Kreuzberg, Berlin, 10 May 2019) Black colour with foamy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of coffee, dark chocolate and black rye bread. Malty, roasted taste with black coffee, dark chocolate, liquorice and a generous coffee bitterness in the finish. Medium body, quite dry. A bit stoutish, but tasty and well made. Nice one.

Sample from 33 cl bottle. Near black with a thin lightly tanned head. Sweet aroma with caramel malts, liqourice, fruits and grasses. Taste is bitter. Medium bodied. Drying fruity finish. Nice.

Bottle 330ml. @ home. [ As Kehrwieder Tallin ].Clear dark black brown colour with a average, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, dark bread, roasted, dark malt, chocolate, wood - barrel. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, malt bitter, wood, dark malt, roasted, sweet chocolate, milk chocolate, barrel. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20181101] 7-4-7-3-15

deep dark brown colour, medium sized dense beige head, which disappears within a few minutes leaving back a thin lbeige layer;aroma of coffee, (over)toasted rye bread, burnt plum jam and slight licorice; taste has the same notes as can be felt in the aroma with some dark chocolate; great baltic porter
