On clear nights, it seems as if you can reach out and touch the stars. Cosmic Cream Ale is the perfect companion for idyllic, curious nights beneath the constellations. Brewed with a cosmic blend of European hops for a fruity and floral backbone, this ale is fermented warm then laid to rest at a cold, lagering temperature. The result is an elegant golden ale which is crisp, balanced and refreshing.

LCBO, Toronto sampler ($8.95): Pours a golden colour with a white head. Aroma is lightly fruity and malty. Beer itself is a little sweet with a nice malt backbone. Palate is perfectly pleasant. No complexity is there obviously, but this beer is perfectly acceptable as a session ale.

Originally rated June 2005. Cameron brews come in a 9 pack case. This one pours a light golden-yellow with a medium head and good lace. The aroma is grainy with malt, almost hay, with hints of earth and floral scents. Lightly carbonated and crisp mouthfeel. In the taste, I find sweet malt with a light peach finish. Also, citrus is there, like oranges in the background. Voted best beer by Toronto Life Magazine. Overall, a smooth over-par and well-crafted cream ale.

This cream ale poured a light yellow with a bright white head. It had the usual Camerons scent to it. I’m not sure what it is but to the nose it was somewhat floral, aswell as a thick yeast scent with a little alcohol. First sip was a little watery with the usual Camerons flavour. Light to the palate. Refreshing.

Golden ale with a thick white head. Sweet biscuitty malt aroma, with light hops. In mouth, fresh sweet malt, again like cookie dough, fruity esters, almost a bit of coconut, veering towards berries, medium bodied. Bottle from LCBO.

Good malt flavours, a complex fruity taste, with dries slightly in the finish. It's probably my choice of the Ontario cream ales.
