Draft. An unclear golden beer with a lazing yellowish head. The aroma has notes of citrus fruits, dusty hops, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of dusty hops, malt, and straw, leading to a bitter finish.

On tap at Thomas Tallis Canterbury. a Scottish kolsch. oh boy. Clear gold colour lasting white head. actually not awful . I mean it's part golden ale part lager. some citrus hoppy finish. better than expected. light and drinkable.

330ml bottle. Golden with a moderate white head. Nice enough but quite malty and nowhere near as clean as I'd expect a Kolsch to be

330 ml bottle conditioned, L072, from Aberdeen Country Fair. ABV is 4.7%. Golden colour, large to moderate white head. Aroma of grassy and herbal German hops, with an unexpected whiff of smoke. Soft mouthfeel. The flavour is fairly dry, with tolerable bittering hops, again a hint of smoke. Not very exciting, but decent enough to drink.

Bottle from Taste of Grampian. It pours clear pale yellow - gold with a thick white head. The aroma is quite soft, white bread, cereal, toasty grain and grass. The taste is crisp, quite clean, dry, grainy, white bread, cereal, straw, grass, floral, stone fruits and light soap with a drying finish. Light - medium body and moderate - high carbonation. Abut grainy and very drying. Pretty so-so.
