Pours from a bottle with a dark red-hued color, a light khaki head. Aroma is a nondescript faint caramel. Taste is a nice, but a little overly subtle coffee vanilla combo. Mouthfeel starts off a nice round, full body, but thins out on the finish.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, best before 7/6/2014. Pours crystal clear deep reddish brown color with a 1 finger dense khaki head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a light amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of chocolate, cocoa, caramel, vanilla, toasted bread, light coffee, cream, and herbal/toasted earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of dark/bready malt and vanilla notes; with solid strength. Taste of chocolate, cocoa, caramel, vanilla, toasted bread, light coffee, cream, and herbal/toasted earthiness. Light herbal bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of chocolate, cocoa, caramel, vanilla, toasted bread, and herbal/toasted earthiness on the finish for a short bit. Very nice balance and robustness of dark/bready malts and vanilla flavors; with a good malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying sweetness after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth and fairly creamy/bready mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with zero warming present after the finish as expected of 4.7%. Overall this is a very good vanilla porter. All around good robustness and balance of dark/bready malt and vanilla flavors; and very smooth to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.

This porter poured a deep amber/red colour with minimal, tan coloured head. Scents include vanilla, roast, caramel and toast. First swig is roasty with flavours of light vanilla and caramel. A little sweet with low carbonation. Finish is sweet with malt flavours lingering.

On tap at Yard House - Long Beach, August 2014. Almost black with a small head. Relaxed with vanilla, roasted malt, chocolate and some caramel.

12 ounce bottle. Translucent mahogany brown color. Medium-sized creamy tan head. Roasted malt aroma has notes of tobacco and cola. Rich malt flavor has a velvety mouthfeel. Subtle notes of caramel and vanilla. In mid-taste. Finish is creamy and rich with notes of raisins and vanilla. Pleasant and very drinkable.

Looks like a cola with a creamy beige head, decent retention and nice thick creamy lace. Mild chocolate malt with hints of vanilla. The taste is sweet and nutty with the light vanilla that is real. Suttle is the vanilla in this one, not overpowering the porter and not being heavy on the stomach.

Dark ruby, almost opaque color, small beige head. Sticky aroma of cocoa and some vanilla. Medium-bodied. Flavor has cocoa and vanilla too. A bit like essance flavors. Nutty.

Bottle. Dark brown beer with a tan head. Chocolate and vanilla aroma. Chocolate and malt flavor with vanilla. Medium bodied. Chocolate and vanilla linger with light caramel.

Draft @ Breckenridge Brewery at the Ballpark, Denver, CO. Pours a dark ruby black color with a small off-white head. Has a roasted malty vanilla chocolate aroma. Roasted malty sweetish vanilla and chocolate flavor. Has a roasted malty chocolate and vanilla finish.
