Brewer Paul was inspired to make this beer when he was in Copenhagen last year and had a blueberry yoghurt smoothie in a food market. Whilst the beer has evolved since its inception, the concept remains that of a creamy blueberry fruit smoothie IPA (whatever that means). We've given it a hefty spike of front-loaded bitterness to balance out the full-bodied sweetness.

Draft @ Skaal, Copenhagen. Pours a hazy golden pale orange color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty grassy peachy hoppy aroma. Fruity malty citrus hoppy peachy flavor. Has a fruity malty peachy citrus hoppy finish.

Tap@Skaal, Copenhagen - Golden Amber pour with white head and lacing. Sweet malty and tropical fruity notes, then a subtle stream of blueberry coming in, sweet malty support, hoppy fruity finish.

Tap @ Mig & Ølsnedkeren, 7.4%. Slightly hazy dark amber with small off-white head. Aroma is malt, caramel, hops, berries, little peach and a little toasted. Flavour is malt, fruit, hops, caramel, notes of berries, medium sweet, little dark fruit and medium bitter.

From tap. Pours hazy brown to deep orange. Small off white head. Aroma is fruity, peachy and crisp hoppy. Bitter, fruity. Crisp hoppy. Fruity. Dry, solid hoppy. Lingering fruity finish.

The aroma is fresh, sweet, juicy, massive blueberry muffin, cake, candied citrus, banana bread and fruity & fibreThe taste is dry, bitter - sweet, oily, blueberry muffin, piney, grass, resin, grapefruit, peppery spice and bit of booze with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Interesting, but perhaps a touch sweet.

Keg at the Euston Tap, West Lodge, 30/10/17. Lightly hazed golden orange with a decent off white cap. Nose is tangerines, light pine, mellow blueberries, soft breads. Taste comprises airy malts, orange peel, toasted grains, bread dough, apricot, subtle blueberry essence. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close doused with juicy hop bitterness. Decent enough well balanced IPA.
