Bottle@Beer Hunters, Pori. Pitch black colour with a small beigeish brown head. Aroma is toffee, chocolate, alcohol and some mild wooden tones. Flavour is espresso, some chocolate, mild spiciness with some chocolate and mild roasted tones too. A bit tobaccoish elements in the finish.

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a large dark brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of sweet chocolate notes with some woody notes and vanilla also noticeable. Taste is a very smooth mix of sweet black chocolate notes with some bourbon, vanilla and woody notes with no rough edge in the aftertaste. Body is full with nice creamy texture and good carbonation with light perceptible alcohol notes. Another solid BA stout from this fine brewery.

Bottle. Pours a dark brown black color with a small off-white head. Has a roasted malty woody bourbon chocolate aroma. Roasted malty woody bourbon chocolate caramel flavor. Has a roasted malty woody bourbon vanilla chocolate finish.

Bottle. Sweet mellow dark roast tobacco and a little purple grape in the aroma and flavors. Slightly bitter and bold toasty trailer.

Pours nearly black , medium to small, bit darker whitz head. Smell is intense bourbon. Not too much of the base left. Taste is full, intense bourbon. Roasty, sweet, very long lasting aftertaste of bourbon. Very intense dark chocolate. Extremely nice, as if that wasnt expected.

Sample from 2013 bottle during the "Biennial Space Tasting!" on 08/20/2017. Pours nearly black with some mahogany-brown around the edges, and a medium tan head that diminishes gradually to an outer ring. Small patches of lacing. Aroma of bourbon, chocolate malt and vanilla. Full-bodied with flavors of charred oak, bourbon, vanilla and chocolate. The finish is oaky and roasty with a bourbon and malt aftertaste. Good beer all around.

Bottle. Black with a touch of lace. Great bourbon nose, vanilla, chocolate, blackberry. Sweet flavor of whisky and berries. Super smooth, luscious body. A bit of booze in the finish. Lovely.

22oz bottle thanks to darrel. pours out black topped with a small tan head. nose is great roast malts vanilla lost of sweetness and a great marshmallow. Taste is more of the heavy sweetness vanilla roast malts great barrel. This one is great.

Bottle @ FiftyFifty Eclipse Charity Tasting. Opaque black color, small to average sized light brown head. Aroma is malts, bourbon, wood, oak, liquor. Taste malts, firm whiskey, light roast, again huge whiskey influence, alcohol. Full body, medium to full carbonation. Very good, but too alcoholic. Which is sort of hidden because probably everybody drinks this after 20 beers. Think this is good, very good after 20 beers, but quite harsh after 5... So, imo, a solid imperial stout, but a bit too harsh for me.
