Wethersoon Autumn Beer Festival 2017. Cask @ Hedley Verity, Leeds. Glowing copper-gold with deeper tasting hops. There’s some mild malts in its nose.

Cask-conditioned, on gravity, at the Commercial Rooms, Bristol 13/10/2017. Amber in colour, with a slight, white, head. Some citrus hops, red berry fruits, sweetish, biscuity, malts leading to a pleasantly bitter finish. Enjoyable, and my beer of the autumn 2017 JDW festival.

Cask at the Hope Tap (JDW), Reading. Deep amber with a yellowy-beige head and a light fizz. Smooth and creamy, very easy-drinking. Mellow notes of coffee, toffee, roasted malt, summer fruits and a touch of wood. Yeah, I like it, I always like relaxing fireside stuff like this. And superb condition once again, the Hope Tap is excelling itself in its cellaring at the moment.
