BIAB at Nottingham Beer & Cider Festival 2024. Hazy golden colour, thin bubbly rim and aroma of apple, pulpy, straw, funk. Taste is sweetish, apple, fruity fleshy, drying with balanced acidity and tannin. Medium bodied, low carbonation, dry fruity tart & tannic finish. Nicely drinkable

On tap (BIB) at Hops, Crewe. Pours a cloudy golden aber with minimal head. The aroma is sweet apples with some floral hints. In the mouth it is sweet and juicy with a creamy texture. The flavour is pressed apples with hints of crunchy peel. Later on there is a little bitterness with tannins leading to a slightly dry finish. This is reasonable, but a bit too sweet for me.

BIB@Bree Louise. Slightly hazy golden colour with a minor white head. Aroma is sweet apples, mild toffeeish sweetness with some ripe apples too. Flavour is apple sweetness with mild tartness with some rather dry wooden tones (acting like tannins). Pleasantly dry.

On tap at Hawkes Taproom Bermondsey. Stewed bramley apple and custard flavour. Some sweetness with a slight dryness on the finish. It's soft in the mouth. Stewed apple flavour. Ok. Decent character. Some tannins attacking the gums.

Bag in box at the standing order. Pours hazy yellow, nose is apple, toffee, floral, taste is juicy apple, toffee, light sweetness.

Poly pin at square bottle... Pink amber... No head... Soft sweet fruits nose... Light dry apple

Biab at the Caernarfon spoons. Pours hazy, still gold. Aromas of apple, red apple skins. Taste is dry, some tannins, crisp apples. Dry finish.

Box @ JDW Montgomery’s Tower. Pours a misty gold. Aroma of fresh apple orchard. Taste has a ripened fleshy apple fruitiness, well balanced with light must and soft, mirage-like tannins on the finish. A great, fruity cider this.
