Starting at its well balanced malty base-camp, the peaks of flavour await your ascent. A veritable avalanche of pink grapefruit and warm orange bury your palette whilst further height brings dizzying aromas of mountain spice. Reaching the peak, the chill winds of the Summit leave a welcome bitterness. This pale ale is a true mountain of flavour.

(Cask at Craft Beer Co Covent Garden, London, 24 April 2017) Hazy golden amber colour with foamy, white head. Malty, hoppy nose with citrus, resin, grapefruit and slightly metallic hop aromas. Malty, hoppy taste with notes of citrus, grapefruit, biscuits and a generous citric, slightly metallic, bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. Tasty and quite bitter, with an impressive hop presence. Nice one.

Bottle from Bitter Virtue Southampton and drunk at home. Hazy amber colour lasting ivory head. A little citrus on the aroma. More citrus in the mouth. Lots of lemon, lime and a little orange juice. Some bitterness on the finish. Yep, pretty decent APA. Loved the hop to be honest. Great.

Hazy gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is airy and little dry with decent fine carbonation. Light dry pale malts with mild thin malt cream. Light floral sweetness. Hops are nicely presented - lemony citrus with a floral tone, mild orange and a touch of tangerine. Light semi dry finish. Good stuff.
