Opaque dark brown beer, tidy pale tan head. Palate is airy, semi dry and has reasonable fine carbonation. Tangy dark malts with an unusual sweetish dark chocolate. Little spice. Mellow earthy coffee. Touch of malt cream. Light finish. Tasty stout.

Manchester Beer & Cider Festival 2016. Fairly strong tasting, but not overbearing, and it’s not very stated in its roasted malts.

Keg at Beerd (Grapes), Oxford, Thursday 4th February 2016 in company of Grace before heading off to a work retirement meal. Dark brown in fact probably black with a small creamy textured head. Rich chocolate and coffee both in the mouth and on the nose, really good creamy, smooth stout, this is great, the hops also poke above the parapet. This is very good, possibly one of the very best that I have had from Wild Weather. A8 A4 T8 P4 Ov17 4.1
