Originally a collab with our friends at Electric Nurse, this is a deliciously sticky, fruity and bold beer. that drinks easy for its strength. It boasts chewy toffee and date-notes with a spicy edge that is subtly reminiscent of Swedish gingerbread.

Sampled @ Borefts Beer Festival 2017. A hazy orange golden beer with a small off-white head. Aroma of reddish malt, caramelish malt, spruce, bitter hops. Taste of bitter reddish malt, red fruits, caramel, spruce.

Clear deep amber beer, creamy small beige head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: sweet, very malty, caramel, sugary, some vanilla. MF: soft carbon, medium to full body. Taste: sweet start, lots of vanilla, sugary, alcohol, some banana, dried fruits. Aftertaste: soft bitterness, sweet malts, sugary, caramel, lots and lots of alcohol.

Tap @bbf17. Caramel colour with a medium sized offwhite head. Smells sweet, hops, tuinbonen, sweaty. Tastes sweet, hops, sticky, resin. Full body, soft carbo.

Tap at Borefts 2017. Bit hazy amber with beige head. Toffee, caramel, bitter herbs and grass, alcohol, light honey and flowers. Quite sweet and bitter. Full bodied.

Aged sample Smooth cream-coloured head, reasonably stable, fed by finely carbonated clear chestnut coloured beer. Rich, voluptuous fruity and fusely nose. Strawberries, fortified wine, dried fruit as apricots. Sweet, alcoholic & fruity. Again dried fruit, apricot especially. Apricot liqueur or Delphi Fraises des Bois. Only the finish yields some hops, and certainly not typical grapefruity Amarillo. Rich, velvety-oily MF, alcoholwarmth, long lasting. Excellent Barley WIne. The aging might have obfuscated the hops, certainly not the enjoyment. Thanks, Jezza!
