Keg at Brighton Bierhaus. It pours black with a thick tan head. The aroma is sweet, juicy, nougat, rocky road, toasted nut, earth roast, rich coffee and nougat. The taste is bitter - sweet, cocoa, toasted nut, rocky road, light spice and expresso coffee with a dry and toasty finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Flavoursome. Good stout base with hop character. Robust. Good stuff.

Can from Taniguchi. Last Year, Brighton Bier did a collaboration with Minoh and now they’re in Japan! This is their Downtown Charlie Brown.

Listed as an American Brown Stout that’s dry-hopped with HBC 431. It’s a beautiful dark brown with an impressive head of beige foam that supports a chocolate roastedness as well as floral/piney hops.

6%medium bodied and smooth this is a chocolatey hoppy stout. Black ipa-ish but much more on the brown stout spectrum. I like this more than the Shiga Kogen IBrA but they’re clearly cousins in spirit at the least.

Draft - Nice hoppiness with some nutty notes. Jet brown black with a decent brown head. Dark roasty bitterness, hops are very prominent and bitterness is nice. Decent.
