2016 catch up - Bottle at home - A crazy level of bitterness, but I really liked it! It was a bit of a shock on the first mouth full, but I really got into it. The alcohol was at an acceptable level, but I don’t think you could have more than two because of the level of bitterness. In fact, one might be the limit!

Bottle at the East Town Bottle Shop & Tap Room, Ipswich. Poured a slightly hazy pale golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is grainy, light hop and citrus. Medium sweetnessa nd bitterness. Light/medium body, light creamy texture, but a bit too much carbonation.

Bottle at home, 24/06/16. Lightly hazed orange golden with a well appointed egg shell white head. Nose is light floral notes, leafy hop, straw, tangerine, melon, soft bread. Taste comprises tangerine, pale malt, straw, toasted bread, orange pith. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a tickle of juicy hop bitterness. Decent session gear.

Hazy gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is airy and has good fine carbonation. Thin malts, just a modicum of sweetness. Good yellow grapefruit, not too bitter. Mildly sweet floralness and pine. Tangy orange peel underneath. Light and semi dry finish leaves a citric peel bitter linger. Nice SIPA.

Keg at The Library consumed Friday 15th April 2016 Hazy yellowy gold with a white head Lovely stringy, juicy, citrussy bitterness, wonderful furry rub across the roof of the mouth, end is really dry. I am surprised that this is a Session Bitter seems more like a session IPA. A6 A4 T8 P4 Ov14 3.6
