A collaborative brew with Port Street Brew House (Manchester) and Lervig (Norway) for IndyMan 2015, this is an easy drinking, thirst-quenching pale ale with slight tartness from the gooseberry. This is complimented with loads of Citra and, this re-brew, with Enigma that both give citrus meets white grape fruitiness in aroma and flavour. A made-for-Summer refreshing brew!

500ml bottle, from Beer Merchants I think. Pours pale gold with white head. Aroma is citrus with light lime. Good crisp, clear taste with a light gooseberry / citrus character. Easy-drinking with a good, mildly tart fruity essence.

Bottle at home in London - sourced from Beermerchants. Pours clear, yellow-gold with a frothy white head. The nose holds citrusy hops, hints of tangy lemon, tangerine rind, mellow dank pine. Light sweet flavor with zippy, lightly tart lemon, some tangy gooseberry, pale malts, light piney bitterness, some rind. Light bodied with average carbonation. Nicely balanced on the finish, lightly drying, faintly resinous, with more tart lemon and gooseberry, rindy citrus, mild minerals, hay, pale bread, slight grassy dankness. Great stuff. Very refreshing.

Bottle from Beermerchants. It pours lightly hazy pale gold with a small white head. The nose is quite soft, juicy, gooseberry, lime, white grape, biscuit and straw. The taste is crisp, quite light, dry, peppery, gooseberry, pithy lemon, lime, touch of soap and straw with a dry finish. Light body and fine carbonation. Quite restrained for Weird beard, but very drinkable nonetheless.
