22 oz wax covered bottle, poured. Copper golden pour with a cream foam head. Beautiful bottle here. Very pleasant grape impression here on the aroma and flavor combined. Different than any other beer with a strong grape note. Nice wine notes, as well as an oak barrel impression. All without being boozy in any way. Smooth and full of flavor. Soft dough late. This was an incredible beer to sip on over time. Loved it.

Bottle/Fest. A- Oak, boozy, vanilla, grapes. A- Copper color, clear liquid, white head. T- Boozy, whisky, oak, wine, dark fruits. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, boozy finish. O- I seemed to get a whisky flavor rather than a wine flavor. Maybe it was the oak that imparted those sensations but either way, it’s fairly complex and just a touch boozy but otherwise really good.

Glass shared by my daughter from her bomber. Nose is light oak, candi sugar, and a fruity red wine. Hazy reddish amber with a small beige head. Flavor is lightly sweet red wine, a hint of bitter, and musty oak. Very nice.

22 oz. bottle shared by T.J. Bottled on 4/25/16 at 11.8%. Color is a light mahogany, very light head. Huge red wine influence, weak berry, oak. Flavor is just as heavily influence by the wine. Dried fruit (plums), oak, mild alcohol in the finish. Decent body and mouthfeel. It is alright.

Poured from bottle thanks Adrien dark brown with a thin tan head. Aromas of wine barrel dark fruit sugar. Taste follows wine fruit candied sugar alcohol is well hidden.
