This beer was brewed to commemorate the Severn Valley Railway’s Golden Jubilee year in 2015. It was so well received we have decided to add it to our range, now called Jubilee Ale.

Bottle courtesy of Mum & Keith, had this at Mum's Wednesday 3rd April 2024. Pours gold, good clarity, white head, there is a nice little buzz, sweetness and dry. Pretty decent but the Worcestershire Way that I just had was much better.

500ml bottle [courtesy of Grumbo - thanks Graham!]. Opalescent, orange, dark golden to amber colour with small, creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Floral and fruity, hoppy aroma, sweet-ish, pale malty background, hints of red and yellow apple, pear. Taste is sweet-ish, slightly biscuity, pale malty and fruity, slightly floral hoppy, hints of red and yellow apple, pear, mild bitterness. Watery texture, smooth and soft palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation. Clean, focussed, relatively sweet - OK.

500ml bottle from Taylors Gluten Free Network. Gluten Free. Golden colour, bubbly white foam head leaving lacing and aroma of malt, straw, hay, grassy, hop. Taste is sweetish, malt, straw, hop with some tangy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry slightly metallic bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

500ml bottle from the brewer. Pours gold, thin head, some retention and quite fizzy in appearance. Aroma of a light chocolate orange. Taste is quite sweet, with biscuit malts, zesty orange, a hint of chocolate, a little dry. Nice bitterness in the finish to balance this brew. Lightish body, nice carbonation. Not the most exciting beer but its another well made one from Bewdley. Quite enjoyable

Handpull cask at the Kings Head, Leicester. Light gold, slightly hazy with a thin white head and considerable lacing. Lime cordial and rich tea biscuit in the aroma. Sweet taste, malt-led, with a touch of bittering hop near the finish. Not particularly imaginative but not bad either. A nice, inoffensive little beer.

Bottle. Color: Clear golden, tiny frothy white head. Taste: Nice balance between medium sweet malts and hoppy bitterness. Hints of caramel and citrus. Rather light body, soft carbonation. Pretty mild typical English beer. Nice one!
