Keg the Fox E8. It pours murky red-amber with a small beige head. The nose is earthy, sweet red fruits, strawberry, pomegranate, blood orange, jammy stuff and pine. The taste is rather bitter, earthy, pine, resinous, toasty, strawberry, caramel and a touch of jam with a lingering bitter-dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Not the most refined, but tis a solid hoppy amber anyhow.

Keg at the Earl of Essex. Mid amber / copper coloured pout with a lasting cream thin head. Aroma is caramel biscuit, piney resinous sweet hop and a hint of tobacco. Flavour is composed of sweet tangy berry fruits, strawberry and biscuit, hint of toasted brown bread, little pine resin as well. Firm piney bitterness. Palate is highish carbonation with a little sticky hop on the tongue. Pretty interesting well made beer.
