Bottled on 20.02.2011. Thanks oh6gdx! Lost in cellar bottles. Opaque colour, no head. Cocoa, dark bread, soya sauce in the nose. Full-bodied. Semi-sweet. Lots of cocoa and rye bread, dark chocolate. Suprisingly no earthy notes except soya sauce and Madeira wine. Even some alcohol and bitterness. Old beer is old but suprisingly drinkable.

Bottle. Pitch black. Roasted nuts, cocos, dark chocolate and a hint of ash in the aroma. Very sweet flavor with rye bread, cocos, chocolate, roast, speculaas and hazelnuts. No carbon. The oversweet flavor is a disappointment after the fine aroma.

Bottle 2768 of 3600, shared at Brewdog Shoreditch. Pours jet black with zero head. Aromas of dark choc, coffee, liquorice, fruit cake. Taste comprises sweet dark malts, chocolate, coffee, port, liquorice, raisins. Medium to thick bodied, oily. Hardly any carb as per most Abstrakt bottles. Rich, sweet Port wine finish. Thankfully this bottle was only slightly oxidised, it had held up pretty well. Enjoyed it,

375ml bottle pours an oily black with some beige head. Nose is meaty, malty, molasses, port, heavy beef bullion. Flavor is grainy, molasses, licorice, some coconut, caramel. Finishes sweet and a touch hot.

Appearance: Dark brown colour with a minimal head.
Aroma: Sweet malt, coconut, chocolate.
Body: Full body, low carbonation.
Flavour: Coconut, chocolate, some dried fruit, sweet malt.

Bottled at AndySnow tasting. Dark brown, no head. Coconut and vodka up front. Mid sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel, very low carbonation. Chocolate, plums and figs. A bit syrupy. Low bitterness. Too sweet.

Bottle shared with Zlotta and Koelschtrinker. Fast schwarze Farbe, geringe beige schaumkrone. Geruch ist sehr röstmalzig, Lakritze, toffee, schokoladig. Geschmack ist sehr malzig, süß, viel Lakritze, schokoladig, kräftig, alkoholisch.
