Clear pale golden color with a white head. Mild caramel malty, herbal grassy and mild fruity. Medium body and an average carbonation. Ok balance between sweetness and bitterness. Maybe not to inviting if you just read the deScription. It was a quite ok fresh session able blonde ale.

Bottle from The Beerhive. Clear golden body with a thin white head. Steady carbonation. Lots of lacing. Aroma of grass, floral hops, custard and pear. Flavour of apricot, lemon sweets, white sugar and a marzipan finish. Medium body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. A bit too sweet for me, but a decent Golden Ale.

13th Aug 2015: cask hand-pulled pint at the brewery tap, sat outside in the sun. Clear, proper golden body, full white head. Nose starts malty then turns slightly citrus with lemon and orange notes. Flavour follows the same path with a strong bitterness coming through towards the end of each sip.

Chelmsford Beer Festival. Cask. Light haze on this pale gold beer, bubbly pale cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry, modest fine carbonation. Notably bitter floral flavours here. Mild hop skunk and citric pith. Dry finish. Pretty aggressive but drinkable.
