Bottle at the Night of Garbage, big thanks to Leighton for another taste of Mexico, 20/12/13 up a shit load of stairs ! Lightly hazed chestnut brown with a thin light tan covering. Nose is bready malts, toffee, dark fruit, malt lead nose. Taste comprises toffee, nutty, brown sugar, brown bread dough. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry finish. Ok for style, the best offering from this brewer of the 3 we tried tonight.

The (not so) shit beer tasting at Leightons stratospheric flat. Hazy deep amber beer witg a big pale cream coloured head. Palate is light, airy and crisp. Minerals. Slightly oxidised tasting caramel malt. Touch of dried fruits. Light crisp finish. Okay.

Bottle shared at Garbage Beer Night - I went to the source for this one, suckas: Baja, Mexico. Pours clear, light brown with a creamy tan head. Simple nose, some toasted brown bread, faint berries. Light to medium sweet flavor with doughy brown bread, toasted sugars, suggestions of milk chocolate, low bitterness, light bodied with average carbonation and velvety texture, sweet finish with nips of cocoa and coffee, more toasted brown bread, faint earth. A simple brown ale but not bad, very drinkable, nothing wrong here.

Bottle. Pours dark brown nearly black with a medium fizzy brown head that leaves no lacing. Aroma is roasted malt and notes of coffee, flavor is the same, pleasant but not complex, minimal bitterness. Somewhat watery in the mouth.
