Bottle thanks to Colin. Wow! Subtle but immense. Gentle tart aroma, taste explodes with citrus, tartness. Not much sign of the barrels, but super flavorful, and lots of lingering residual essence. Wonderful.

Bottle [from trade with Scopey] @ home. Clear pinkish golden color, small off-white head. Aroma is red fruits, a hint of unripe passion fruit. Taste wheat, again some slightly unripe fruits, ligjt raspberry tart. Slight dry hop in the background. Well balanced, soft and refreshing. Quite pleasant.

Many thanks to Scopey for this one. Hazy vibrant orange - amber beer, nice peach colour head. Nose of citrus, tropical and fruits and wine! Palate is airy, dry and crisp. Tangy orange, blood orange and tangerine. Little sherbet. Some green thing going on, a kinda tequila - cactus vibe. Tangy wine on the back end before a dry finish. Nice beer, but I would swear it was wine BA rather than bourbon.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; hazy strawberry ribena pour with a bubbly pink head that quickly disappears, aroma has tart berries plus some vinous action, taste has citrus, tart raspberries, a hint of wood, sour grapes, orange and grapefruit, not as sour as other calypsos I’ve had but it was great. --- Beer merged from original tick of Calypso Berliner Weisse - BA Raspberries on 26 Mar 2015 at 21:08 - Score: 8. Bottle from Siren Brewery, Finchampstead, consumed at home Wednesday 25th March 2015 at Merton Beer Festival Mop up Meeting Looks like like a kids strawberry juice, I poured the whole lot in so it’s murky. Fresh, juicy with a great tartness, however this is softened by the barrel ageing, not getting any bourbon though. Really loving it, the wonderful fruitiness reminds of Boon Mariage Parfait Framboise and that is a compliment. Love this. A8 A3 T9 P4 Ov17 4.1

Keg at the brewery during the 2nd anniversary bash, 07/03/15. Crimson in colouration with little in the way of a covering. Nose is tangy berry fruit, rich raspberry notes, straw, must, citric rind, woody. Taste comprises tangy red berry, spice, damp hay, very subtle bourbon strokes, pitted fruit, light dirt, subtle acidity. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with light puckerings. Solid crushing juice.

Draft at the brewery during the Maiden event. Pours clear, bright pink-red with a creamy white head. The nose holds peach, lemon, nectarine and dried raspberries. Light sweet flavor with soft grassy bitterness, light salty bite, crisp raspberries, mild lemony tang. Light bodied with average carbonation. Pretty clean on the finish, dry, dry wood, citrus rind. Very good.
