Gravity dispense at Craft 100, CBC Clapham, 02/04/15. Extremely dark mahogany brown with reddish hues topped with a respectable tan covering. Nose is earthy hops. light floral notes, toffee, light pine. Taste comprises biscuit, perfume, pine needle, light spice, cocoa powder, light charring. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Adequate CDA, certainly no game changer - expected a little more from this one especially considering the ABV on offer!

Cask at Craft 100 April 2015 - London. Pours clear brown with a frothy beige head. The nose holds toasted pine, brown bread and orange rind. Medium sweet flavor with rindy bitterness, toasted bread, earth, light cocoa. Medium bodied with fine carbonation; good condition. Lightly resinous on the finish with notes of bitter cocoa, earth, ripening orange. OK.

Cask at Craft 100. It pours clear brown with a small off-white head. The nose is bitter-sweet, fresh, cocoa, varnish, chocolate and toffee. The taste is bitter-sweet, earthy roast, toast, leather, pepper, charred stuff and resin with a dryish finish. Medium body, soft carbonation and oily mouth-feel. A bit light and weak unfortunately.... Still, not bad.

2nd April 2015
Craft #100 fest at Clapham. Cask. Clear deep amber beer, small pale tan head. Palate is light and semi dry and a little crisp. Modest dark malts. Light piney sweetness, trace of berry fruits. Light finish. Could be bolder but not bad.
