Cask half-pint in my local Wetherspoons on 3rd April 2015. Red hue to the amber body, off-white head. Malty lead with a hedgerow fruit nose, red berries in the taste: dry and bittering finish.

Cask at the Crosse Keys, City, 27/03/15. Very light haze on this chestnut/amber beer topped with a moderate light beige swirl. Nose is orange peel, light wood, toffee, candy bar, melon. Taste comprises candied fruit peel, tangerine, vanilla essence, mandarin. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Decent enough offering, touch sweet for a bitter though!

Hamilton Hall. Spoons. Cask. Clear amber beer, small pale tan head. Palate is light with a nice fine crispness. Good condition. Smooth malts, traces of cream and toffee. Light smoke pervades throughout. Mellow marmalade on the back end is touches of floralness and plummy fruits. Light semi dry finish. Mild smokey linger. Very good bitter.

On cask at the Standing Order. Appearance - deep amber with a nice head. Nose - light biscuit and red fruits. Toffee lurking. Taste - more of the same. The toffee note just rounds it nicely. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy yet crunchy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - yeah nice balanced bitter.
