Hazy gold beer, decent pale cream colour head. Palate is airy and semi dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Fluffy light malts, mildly sweet. Light and sweetish floral mid. Trace of fresh orange. Smooth finish brings bitterish orange peel. Light and nicely balanced.

Bottle from Bacchanalia, Mill Road, Cambridge. Dark gold with a tiny white head. Floral, gummy, resinous aroma, lightly dusted with the scent of pine needles. Full bitterness in the taste, with some gentle tangerine and sweet herbs. Long dry finish. Highly carbonated, medium body. Tastes stronger than the advertised 4.44%. Really, really good.

12 oz bottle from Beer52.com. A hazy amber pour with thin white head; tropical fruit aroma; big fresh hoppy taste, with some tropical fruit, and a firm caramel malt body; the bitterness is disappointingly short, leaving some grapefruit and grainy malts to finish.

Pours a clear gold with an excellent and long lasting head of foam.
Big grapefruit and danky hop notes on my nose. Smells almost like it has some tropical fruit thing going on.
The taste is pretty straight grapefruit bitterness with little dankness and none of the tropical fruit that I mentioned in the smell. Dissapointing.
Very good mouthfeel considering the relatively low abv.
The smell was very promising. In the end, I still enjoyed it despite the short comings taste wise.

This was poured into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was a semi-hazy ruddy yellow color with a decent transparency about it. Carbonation could be seen rising at a moderate pace. Light lacing settles in a messy sort of way around the glass.
The smell starts off with a sharp bitter pine rolling on into subtle waves of oily leafy fresh hops. There’s some citrus and then a light danky onion.
The taste was fresh, bitter and danky. Light sweetness settles in on the background. Semi-piney bitter aftertaste. Wet sweet finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a pretty good sessionability about it. Carbonation felt just right for a session IPA. Bitterness hits right and feels good.
Overall, hey shout out to Rogue for this one, for the style, I’d say they pulled off what many brewers are trying to do, getting the flavor in a lower ABV-ed beer. Drink up as I’m sure I’ll go back and grab a sixer for Summer!

22 ounce bottle into signature pint glass; no bottle dating, but is a recent release. Pours slightly hazy/cloudy golden orange color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass. Aromas of grapefruit, tangerine, peach, apricot, mango, lemon zest, orange peel, light pine, light caramel, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of bright citrus/tropical hops and light-moderate bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, peach, apricot, mango, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, light caramel, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Moderate pine/citrus rind bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, peach, apricot, mango, lemon/orange peel, pine, light caramel, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of bright citrus/tropical/pine hops and light-moderate bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance and zero astringent hop flavors after the finish. Good amount of dryness from bitterness as well. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately sticky/resinous, and lightly grainy/bready balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish as expected of 4.44%. Overall this is a very good session IPA. All around good complexity, robustness, and balance of bright citrus/tropical/pine hops and light-moderate bready malt flavors; and very smooth and easy to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Bottle. Pours a clear golden color with a lasting, thin white head. Very hop forward session beer. Aromas and tastes of grapefruit pith and pine dominate here. Pale grainy malt is no match. Moderate bitterness, light carbonation, and a thin dry finish. Unbalanced as all hell, but I enjoyed it.
