Bottle at the Bishops Arms, Malmo. Pours a cloudy dark brown with a tiny ring of off white head. Aroma is massive sweet toffee, caramel, overripe fruits, raisins and booze. Flavour is heavy sweet with a balancing medium Bitterness in the finish. Full bodied and thick with soft carbonation.

Bottle at Bishops Arms, Vasagatan, Stockholm. November 16, 2011. Clear amber with a minimal head. Very vinous aroma with dried fruit, malt, sugar and toffee. The taste was complex and vinous, very pleasant beer to sip. I liked the big body and almost syrupy mouth feel. I wonder how old the bottle was?

Brown body, tan head. Aroma of raisins, sweet, spicy, vanilla. Flavour somewhat sweet, old yeast (autolyse), liquorice (drop). Finish quite sweet and alcoholic. Nice one.

25cl Bottle at DRBM. Dark amber colour, off white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, liquorice, raisins. Flavour is malty, bitter, Dutch liquorice, laurel, caramel, plastic, dry bitter finish. Light to medium bodied, slightly alcoholic. Nice.

Bottle @ DRBM. 2 years old. Brown color, off white head. Aroma’s of sweet malts, drop/licorice, a hint of spice/herb (juniper?). Flavor is sweetish and bitter. Nice roasty & bitter finish.

Süß-malziger Antrunk, bereitsansprechend süß, deutlich hopfig. Die Hopfigkeit ist allerdings eher nebensächlich da das doch sehr süße Malz überdeckend wirkt. Etwas Porter ähnlich, minimal bitter. Im Nachgeschmack kommt der Hopfen besser zum Tragen. 11/11/11/12//11

250ml bottle at 3 Små Rum for SEK120,-. Shiny surface to a clear amber-red body. Dried fruity aroma along with notes of caramel malts. Dark and dried fruits in flavour with noticeable hints of nuts and almond drops. Warming alcohol. Well balanced and near full bodied (Göteborg, 04.08.2010).

Bottle @ Miami Fandango ’10 gathering. courtesy of jw77, thanks for sharing this rare gem. pours dark ruby brown, thin beige/mocha head. load of caramel malts with a touch of chocolate along with dark fruits, all is meshed together with a lingering bitter/citrus hop profile.

Bottled from de Molen. Clear ruby red color, short head, good lacing. Aroma of hops, some raisins, honey, some malt. Bit sweet caramelly taste, decent hopbitterness, honey.
