This is first red ale, brewed with Calypso and Citra hops from the USA, giving an aroma rich in citrus fruits. The taste is fruity and bitter and has a good body. The finish is long, dry and bitter.

29th Sep 2015: hand-pulled cask pint in The White Hart, Shifnal Shropshire. Red hue to the brown body, a white crown sat on top. Hops blast in the nose and initial taste, Rye like notes appeared later within the citrusy fruity flavours as the beer warmed a little in the glass. One of the better beers I have tried from this brewery so far.

24th November 2014
Craft Clerkenwell. Cask. Clear amber beer, no head. Palate is smooth and semi dry with modest fine carbonation. Light malt base. Mild marmalade hops with traces of orange and lemon. Light dry finish. Not bad but would have shone a bit more with some better condition.
