This new light brown beer, exclusive to Wetherspoon in cask, has a subtle, sweet, smoky aroma, with its smoky flavour containing hints of raisins, dates and coffee, along with a restrained bitterness, leading to a dry finish.

Cask handpull at Shakespeare Head Spoons. Brown deep amber colour slightly hazy lasting bubbly beige head. Some smoke on the aroma that then builds in the mouth. Ok ruby malts. Is it Schlenkerla or Spezial? No. But it’s quite pleasant. Good to have something different. Some hop sting on the finish. Good I thought. Not best condition

Cask @ The Waterhouse. Clear copper-brown with a creamy head. Has a peat based smoky aroma and taste with plenty of ham evident in its flavour. Very tasty.
