330ml gushing bottle at Sourced Market, St Pancras. Unclear, near-muddy, dark brown coloured body. Lasting tan-coloured head. Spotty lacing. Mid-sweet aroma of caramel, earth and plums. Mixed taste of dark spices, plums, prunes and a little yeasty fruitiness towards the ending, still rather sweet. Well bodied. Satisfying without further excitements (London 14.07.2014).

Bottle shared at chriso’s during Garvie’s visit - London. Pours unclear gold with a creamy, white head. The nose has ripe citrus and bready malts. Medium to heavy sweet flavor with sugary bread, ripe fruits, dough. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finish with further sugary, doughy bread, some yeast, ripe fruits, orange. Not bad, really.

Craig on Heat Tasting at ChrisO’s. Gushy mofo! Lightly hazy amber beer, small pale tan head. Palate is light and airy, fine carbonation. Touch of dried fruits. Whisper of spice. Airy finish. A bit messy.

On tap at the Berry Walmer. Hazy russet colour thin beige head. Nutty malty dubbel. Quite hoppy and bitter too. Over carbonated so had to decant into another glass. Nut like the inside of a nutshell flavour. Not unpleasant but not reall like s normal dubbel and I guess needs work. The saaz gives a spritzy finish. Which again I am not sure works on a dubbel.
