From cask @ The Diamond, Londonderry. This is a mild cloudy looking one, brownish golden in color and a small bit lasting cask bubbly head on the top. It smells a little bit soapy, mild caramel, some almonds. Not a bad aroma, just really mild. It's cask flat and it has a thin oily texture in the mouth. Like the taste though! Quite a lot actually. Nutty all the way, bitter soapy. Lots of wood elements, fresh birch that is. Smooth in the taste, quite good and casky! 05.06.2016

Cask at the PRince Arthur (JDW), Farnborough. Pale chestnut with a golden gleam and a translucent sudsy-looking head; aroma of earthy malts and peanuts; clean and crisp with an unexpected fruity bitterness and some sweet nutty malts; then a long finish. Surprisingly good.

Cask at Victoria Station Spooneria, 02/04/14, JDW Spring 2014 Fest Beer #18. Clear dark amber with a moderate light beige covering that thins but stays for the show. Nose is caramel, light floral tones, biscuit, hint of spice. Taste comprises jasmine, tangy berry fruit, caramel, perfumed tones, soft brown bread dough. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying finale. Tasty enough stuff, decent for style.
