Cask at the moon under water JDW Watford. Caramel copper coloured pour with a off white film of head. Aroma is nutty caramel with lemon pine hops. Flavour is nibely balanced malt / hops. Brown toasty caramel malt and lemon pine slightly earthy hop. Nice clean ferment. Lingering lemon hop. Palate is medium but finishes dry. Nice chalky mineral water. Very good american brown. I could drink many pints of this.

Cask at the Victoria Station Spoons - London. Pours clear, bright burnished gold with a creamy, off-white head. The aroma gives off some flowery hops, subtle pine, orange rind. Light-medium sweet with lightly toasted bread and pine, more rindy orange, suggestions of coffee. Light bodied with fine carbonation; good condition. Nicely balanced finish with decent hop edge, some bitter earth, pine and leaves, dry bread, slight burnt toffee. Nice one.

Cask @ Regal Moon, Rochdale. Clear brown with a creamy head. There’s some hops in a milky aroma and it’s light textured in the palate.

Cask at the Hope Tap, Reading. Copper-brown with a moderate beige hesd and a light sparkle. Earthy up front with some autumn leaf crackle and grapefruit behind. Moderate bitterness. Quite traditional-tasting, possibly let down a little by some butteriness at the end, but nevertheless a good easy-drinking thirst-quencher. Solid effort.

Cask at The Briar Rose; clear light copper pour with thin off white head, malt and caramel aroma, taste had earthy woods in the winter along with a fresh whollop of conker, almost got citrus.
