Draft pour enjoyed at Rapp Brewing, Seminole. First visit! Of course, gotta jump on the Polotmavy first. Wish you were here, Jow! Though I see you have tried it at least. A slightly reddish copper pour. Lots of sticky lacing. Doughy malt aroma. Flavor is quite flavorful within the lager style. Rich malts, bready, slightest hint of a sweetness berry. Refreshing red lager, and of course, fun to find within the style. Enjoyed this.

Keg at the brewery. Light amber, clear and thin looking. Quite a bit of head initially. Malty, citrus and floral - almost perfumed - odour. Sweet taste with bitter astringency leading up to the long finish. Notes of vanilla and tangerine in the aftertaste. Pretty good although balance doesn’t quite work for me.

Half growler sent to me from Tricyclist, huge thanks! Realize I’ve become a weirdo when I’m trading for Polotmavy but not immediate Czech travel plans has me leaning on Florida for help. Amber pour small sudsy head. Nose is light toffee and lager yeast. Tastes of lager yeast, toffee, bran muffin, earthy bitters, some dried leaves. Crisp and drying on palate. Easy drinking and the perfect Polotmavy for first of November evening.

Growler with thanks to somebody who knows damn well to text me when a Polotmavy is on tap somewhere :) - thanks Sean! Pours crystal clear reddish orange, small off-white head, fizzy and quick to dissipate leaving some lacing behind. Aroma is bready, malty, grassy. Flavor is light sweet, light bitter, clean with notes of grass, hay and biscuit. Lightly acidic. Light plus body with a soft mouthfeel.

Draft at Rapp 3/16/2015. Dark amber color, aroma is spicy hops and caramel malt. Flavor has a freshness. Herbs and spicy hops in a medium body with fizzy carbonation. Brew is balanced by lager yeast and earthy spicy hops. Good

Tap at Rapp. It pours hazy amber with a medium off-white head. The nose is clean, brown bread, leather, sesame, earth and faint chlorine. The taste is brown bread, leather, caramel, spice, good level of bitterness, grass, wood and bran muffin with a dry, bitter finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. A very well balanced and drinkable hopped-up polotmavy!
