500ml bottle from Hecks Cider Farm, shared with Soph on a super hot summers afternoon. Pours clear gold, aroma is sour, sulphur, strong perry pear, woody, sweet. Taste continues along similar lines, nice Hendre character coming through with a strong tang, gentle acidity. Good stuff. AUG 07 2018 Box @ The Orchard Box, Bristol. Pours misty yellow, nice medium sweet perry fruit on the nose. Taste has prominent fleshy fruit with a gentle sweetness and firm tannin presence. Nice.

Cask @ Trades Club, Hebden Bridge. Hazy pale light green in colour. It doesn’t feel its strength with a fairly light texture and has plenty of fruitiness in both aroma and taste.

Polycask at Banbury Beer Festival 05.05.11 Pours hazy lemon colour. Initially quite tart and offering a wonderful tanginess before settling down to become, wonderful juicy with a sweetness flooding through. This is full of big, soft juicy overipe pears, can’t stop thinking of Nigella (the voluptuos cookery person) whilst I write that last bit. Good stuff. A6 A4 T8 P8 P4 Ov14 3.6
