Fruity, hoppy aromas lead to a well-balanced middle with hops increasing in the finish.

Cask at Hardknott on Track, Millom. Light yellow, very lightly carbonated with some lacing. Light citrus/floral aroma, inconsequential but certainly pleasant. Taste is mostly bitter, with a notable floral sweetness later on. Finish is notably but not sharply bitter. A good beer but everything is a trifle muted. Tastes less strong than 3.8%. Too gentle to be great, but it’s a good place to start.

On cask at the Bow Bar. Appearance - golden with a proportionate head and a slight haze. Nose - lemon and floral. Taste - lemon fruit and pith. Palate - light bodied with a creamy texture and a fairly good finish. Overall - solid if unexciting.

Cask at Craft Beer Co, Clerkenwell on 12th September 2014. Pale gold with thin white head and scant lacing. Yeasty citrus aroma. Fine narrow note of grapefruit citrus in liquid with spices and solid malts. Malty finish with citric tang and rear-mouth bitter echo. A full engaging mouthfeel.

Cask gravity at the Wandsworth beer fest preview night 26/03/14. Pale yellow coloured pour with a loose lasting white head. Aroma is earthy herbal hop, with light lemon,. Flavour is earthy spicy hop. Finishes nice and dry. Light refreshing palate. Slightly strange.
