Cask at the Victoria, St Annes. Golden colour, thin white foam head leaving some lacing and aroma of citrus, fruity. Taste is pale malt, some grain, with tangy citric bitterness. Thin mouthfeel, light bodied, soft carbonation, dry citric tangy bitter finish. OK

Cask @ James Monro, Liverpool. Clear golden with a creamy head. Crisp with a light texture and a malty bitterness in both its aroma and taste.

Cask at the Crosse Keys, JDW. Clear, rich yellow pour with a modest head. Grass, straw and light dough on the nose. Flavor has an interesting smokiness, some crackery malts, bit more straw. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes tacitly sweet with quite distinct gasoline, and some dandelions. Not bad, especially since I love the taste of gasoline.

Cask-conditioned at the Bag O’Nails, Bristol 28/10/09. An easy drinkiing golden ale with a slight white head, juicy floral hops and some sweetish malts, leading to a bitter finish. A good session beer.
