Keg at the Euston Tap - London. Pours clear, copper-gold with a sturdy, white cream head. Massive melon aroma, some strawberries and fruity candies. Medium sweet flavor with big melon character, canteloupe, light dryness, a bit of orange, heavy peach. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Light dryness on the finish, with hefty peaches, melon and orange. Big and juicy overall, not too sweet, with lasting peach and melon. Some very mild alcohol notes meander about. Very good.

Tap at William IV (Magic Rock takeover) 10/12/12. I also recorded ’brett’ at the end of the clip. Lightly hazed mid amber with a thin off white head, soon clearing to the edge of the glass and leaving a thin film. Nose is grapes, light wood, mango, touch of pine. Taste comprises orange, mango, pineapple, grapes, light booze, touch woods, modicum of brett. Medium body with bite, soft carbonation. Complex and well balanced - another winner from Magic Rock!

King Willliam IV. Keg. Hazy gold beer, little white head. Again softish palate with fine carbonation. Really digging the MR Kegs today. Fantastic blend of medium marmalade hops and smooth and tangy floral tequila lime. Malt cream underpins. Lovely lime vibe in this beer. Finishes smooth. Of the few tequila barrel beers I’ve had this is the best.

Keg at Magic Rock Tap Takeover William IV; clear amber pour white head, spicy and citrus aroma, herbal taste which is well complimented with brett, slight hint of tequilla BA.

Keg at Euston Tap. It pours clear amber with a medium white head. The nose is sweet, juicy fruit, agave and fruit pastels. The taste is very fruity, akin to five alive, orange, passion fruit, papaya, banana, mango and some alcohol warmth with a dry, fruity finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Well balanced. The tequila barrel seems to attenuate the fruity flavours. Interesting and flavoursome.
