Cask at a Wetherspoons somewhere - probably Manchester. A light malted golden ale that has a medium body and a decent taste to it.

Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms, Bristol, November 2012. Slightly hazy gold with a decent white head. Sweet, flabby malts redeemed by some solid, slightly spicy hops and a dryish finish. Ok.

Willow Walk, Victoria 2 Nov 11. JDW festivaløl. Veldig lys gyldengul. Litt uklar. Lavt tett skum. Beskjeden fruktaroma. Smaken er søt frukt med en svakt bitter ettersmak.

Cask, one-third pint glass on a sample tray at Willow Walk. Faint white head, good lacing. Next to clear golden coloured body. Plain fruity nose. Fresh fruity flavour of peaches and lemon, lightly spiced. Bittersweet end. Soft in the mouth. Ordinary (JDWs real-ale festival, London 01.11.2012).

Cask at the Crown Rivers (JDW) LHR T5 - 03/11/12. Clear pale golden/yellow with a decent frothy white head that retains well. Good lacing ensues. Nose comprises malt, barley, grain, toasty, light citrus. Floral hops in the taste, touch of caramel, citrus notes. Medium bodied with soft carbonation, nice and smooth on the palate leading to a bitter finish. Probably my favourite beer of this JDW festival.

[Cask at the Monks Retreat (JDW), Reading] Gold with a light haze and slight white head. Slight floral hints some lemon and a crisp, clean bitterness in finish. Very drinkable, very refreshing, very more-ish - could easily session this in the summer!

Cask, gravity dispensed, at the Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell. Straw coloured with a loose, translucent head; herbal, grassy, aroma; grainy in the mouth, dry and spicy to start then becoming sweeter; the finish is dry with some warming pepper. Rather good.
