Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms, Bristol, November 2012. Deep amber with a slight, off-white head. Sweet, malty beer, with some fruit and an earthy edge, before a moderately bitter finish. Good.

Willow Walk, Victoria 2 Nov 11. JDW festivaløl. Mørk gyldenbrun. Veldig lavt skum. Tilstedeværende fruktaroma. Tynn på smak. Litt syrlig og tørr ettersmak.

1/3 pint, hand pulled cask at Willow Walk. Clear amber to a naked surface. Modest aroma of malts and fruits. The taste is also malt-fruity leaving a jam-like impression. Smooth bitter ending. Decent bitter, on par with the style (JDWs real-ale festival, London, 02.11.2012).

Cask at Hamilton Hall, JDW, London. Pours clear gold with a fine, white cream head. Leaves and faint berry fruits on the nose. Light sweet flavour, fairly bitter wih dry, crunchy leaves, faint bread, a bit of citric astringency. Light bodies with fine carbonation. Somewhat dry to finish with more bitter, crunchy leaves, wood, faint dry fruits. Nothing special here.

Cask handpull at Crosse Keys, JDW, London. Old gold colour with lasting beige head. Bit of odd coffee to this, some caramel, bit of diacetyl maybe. Very good condition, odd coffee cake flavour with walnuts makes this a very attractive beer to drink
