Draught@SBWF2012. Hazy amber colour with a creamy slightly off-white head. Aroma is wood, some farmyard, mild sour berries as well as some sweet malts to it as well. Flavour is big wooden tartness and sourness along with some toffee, fruits and mild berries. Wellbalanced, and though rather big on the sourness, it’s still pleasantly smooth to drink.

Camden brewbar, Keg. Hazy red amber beer, fluffy white head. Palate is airy and crispy. Light bretty sourness. Smooth light airy malt underneath. Nice red wine flavour and tang that slightly dominates the bitterish orangey hops. Crispy dry finish. Very interesting beer, a whiff of Sangria about this but it’s bretty and bitter. Tasty!

Keg at the brewery tap room - London. Pours clear, deep red-gold with a fine, creamy off-white head. Smells good, lots of sour and jammy fruits, berries, mild funk, some wet wood, wet carpet. Light sweet flavor, leathery fruit sweetness, some woody dryness, light earth, tangy berries, grape skins. Light bodied with average, cutting carbonation. Quite bitter on the finish, moderate tangy fruits, tons of grape skins and cherry pits, earth, some vinous dryness and woodiness, some funky basement, hints of mold. A touch too bitter but quite nice overall.

Keg at IndyManBeerCon, 2012. It pours hazy red-amber, with a medium off-white head. The nose is rich maltiness, sticky pine, resinous hops, wood, brett and some marzipan/almond. The taste is pine, grapefruit, jammy fruits, resin, red grape, lemon, strong malt backbone, brett, light funk, sweet-sour aspect and vinous notes, with a bitter, bretty finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. An interesting and tasty funky red IPA.

Sampled @ Stockholm Beer & Whisky 2012. Pours hazy reddish brown with a small offwhite head that leaves lots of trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is tiny sweet, malty and slightly funky with bread, lemon zest, grapefruit juice, dark grapes, overripe plums, dry soil, hay and hints of overripe almost rotten lemons. Taste is sour and bitter with bread, orange peal, lemon juice, grapefruit peal, red wine, wood, fresh grass, pine, dry soil and hints of barnyard. Mouthfeel is tart, dry and medium bodied. Finish i bitter, slightly sour, tart and dry with grapefruit and orange peal, dry soil, grapes, plums and overripe almost rotten lemons. Strange, interesting and quite good.

Draught @ SBWF 12. Hazy amber, thick frothy dirty white head. Aroma is overwhelming: oak, barnyard, toffee, yeast, berries. Flavor is tart, has grapes, fruity hops. Sour, bitter long finish. Very complex brew, very interesting, loved it!

Draught at SBWF. Lightly hazy amber, rich head. Tart lingonberry aroma. Dry with medium body and clean mouthfeel. Fairly intense with minty black currant sorbet flavour and low bitterness. Slightly edgy.
